Music is a very important part of Peace Lutheran Church. We strive to be a “singing congregation” and offer musical opportunities for all ages in many forms! From chimes to choirs to congregational singing in our Sunday worship services, we have a musical opportunity for you! Led by Tony Carillo our music program has opportunities for all ages! Chimes and hand bells Celebration Chimes: 3rd – 5th grades This group practices during the midweek program from 5:00 – 5:30pm and performs during select Sunday worship services. Youth handbells: 6th – 8th grades This group practices during the midweek program from 5:00 – 5:45pm and performs during select Sunday worship services. Sonshine ringers: 9th grade - adults This group practices during the midweek program from 6:00 – 6:45pm and performs during select Sunday worship services. Choirs Little Angels: 4-6 year olds Joyful Noise: 1st and 2nd grades Kids of the Kingdom: 3rd-5th grades These groups practice during the from 5:30 – 6:00pm Wednesday and sing during select Sunday worship services. Sanctuary Choir: 9th grade - adults This group practices on Wednesdays from 7:00 – 8:00pm and/or Sundays from 6:00 – 7:00pm and sings during most Sunday worship services. Bands Revive Praise Band: This group practices Tuesdays (Wednesdays in Summer) from 7:00 – 8:30 pm and performs at the 11:00 service the 2nd Sunday of each month and both services on the last Sunday of each month. Icthus: 6th – 12th grades This group practices Wednesdays from 5:30 - 6:00pm and performs during select for the Loft Youth services on Wednesday evenings and Sunday worship services and special events. |
